OUR MISSION

Birds Eye View Project launched in 2015 with a bold mission: extreme sports for extreme needs. Since day one, we’ve taken a deep, holistic approach to supporting Veterans and First Responders — focusing on five pillars of life after service: mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellness.

Our charity partners aren’t just chosen — they’re vetted by an independent committee to ensure they directly serve the critical needs of our heroes in uniform: active-duty military, firefighters, police, and EMS.

When it comes to fundraising, we don’t follow the rules. We break them. Our approach is unconventional, wildly experiential, and always centered around action. With our three core initiatives — The Human Performance Project, Project X, and our flagship event, Black Ops — we support high-impact charities, sponsor epic humans who go big for meaningful causes, and host immersive events that build real-world skills you carry for life.

It takes a team to make a difference.

THE TIME FOR ACTION IS NOW

6000

Reports have established that there were 6000 or more veteran suicides per year from 2008 to 2017. The reports also state that veterans consist of 13.5% of all deaths by suicide in US adults but only make up 7.9% of the US adult population.

1.7 MILLION

According to data from the Department of Veterans Affairs, over 1.7 million veterans received mental health services through the VA in 2020, signifying a significant number of veterans seeking therapy through the VA system; however, many veterans still do not seek treatment despite the need, often due to stigma or lack of access to care.

45,000

According to available data, there are over 45,000 non-profit organizations in the United States that serve veterans and their families, registered with the IRS. We vet every non-profit submission to ensure they are serving those who serve us. Take the guess work out of your donations.
